Parking
When visiting a loved one or attending an appointment, please allow extra time for parking. During peak periods, car parks often reach capacity.
Consider taking public transport as the trains and buses arrive directly outside the hospital. Find our more information here.
Parking Locations
- The multistorey hospital carpark on Moore Street, off Lord Street, is right next to the hospital and is open 24 hours.
City of Perth parking
- Firestation – 1 Murray Street. Open 24 hours.
- Goderich Street – 133 Goderich Street. Open until midnight.
- Hay Street East – 262 Hay Street. Operates 24 hours / 7 days a week.
Use EasyPark to pay for onstreet parking and at City of Perth car parks.
Or visit Wilson Carparks
- Pier Street – 87-89 Pier Street. 681+ parking bays. Open until 10pm.
For emergencies
Limited free short-term parking is available off Lord Street near the entrance to the Emergency Department. Please read the signs carefully.
Access to Disability Bays
Parking bays reserved for people with ACROD permits are available at the following car parks:
- 17 ACROD bays – Royal Perth Hospital multi-storey (if full, contact the car park attendants for help)
- 12 bays – Royal Perth Hospital O Block Outpatients
City of Perth parking
- 3 bays – Firestation Car Park, Murray Street
- 8 bays – Pier Street Car Park
- 2 bays – Goderich Street
- 2 bays – 262 Hay Street Car Park
Outpatient Clinic
These are the best options if you are attending the Outpatient Clinic.
- If you have limited mobility, a small number of bays are available on Goderich Street.
- Patients can walk from the multistorey car park through the hospital to Outpatients.
- Otherwise, take public transport or use the parking stations outlined above.
Subsidised parking
Patients who attend RPH over a prolonged length of time and have explored all alternate means of transport, may be eligibility for subsidised parking. Ask your treating team to arrange a visit from the ward-based social worker or visit the Social Work Department at the Victoria Square entrance.
